Requests for Service for Firm Gas Storage Capacity
Floridian Natural Gas Storage Company, LLC (FGS) is also accepting requests for service from interested parties for storage service at its proposed natural gas storage facility near Indiantown in Martin County, Florida.
With interconnections to the Florida Gas Transmission Company and the Gulfstream Natural Gas System, L.L.C., the FGS facility will receive natural gas for liquefaction, storage, vaporization, and redelivery into both pipeline systems, by vaporization or via trucks in liquid form.
FGS holds long-term authorization from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) as agent for others to both Free Trade and Non-Free Trade countries. FGS customers, with FGS acting as agent, will be able to legally export LNG once a firm, long-term contract for delivery of LNG from the FGS facility is executed and reported to the DOE.
The proposed in-service date is mid-2019.Requests for service are currently being accepted. Interested parties are encouraged to contact FGS for all or any part of the available capacity.
